Kaleidoforest - An original acrylic painting from 2018
A visit to a Klimt exhibition at Tate Liverpool in 2008 completely crystalised my direction towards Art Nouveau inspired decorative art. Here we have a piece inspired by Klimt and his contemporary, Vittorio Zecchin’s highly decorative works. The hypnotic nature of the patterns made me think of a kaleidoscope, hence the title.
This painting was released as a jigsaw puzzle in 2022 by Ceaco Puzzles in the US.
Acrylic painting has a layer of UV Matt varnish for protection. Signed on the back. Comes ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.
