Zebedee Too

Inspired by Klimt’s ‘Tree Of Life’ from his frieze for the Palais Stoclet in Brussels. As I worked on this, it began to remind me of the stark backdrops from the children’s tv show ‘The Magic Roundabout’, hence the Zebedee in the title.

A Giclée print is a high quality archival inkjet print. The word Giclée (pronounced ‘Jee-Klay’ with a soft J), comes from the French verb ‘gicler’ meaning ‘to squirt, spurt, or spray’. In average daylight conditions, the print has a life expectancy of 80 years. In dark storage archival conditions, life expectancy is 200 years!
