FelineFulfilment
A whimsical take on Klimt’s Fulfilment painting, but with cats. I began a project for a calendar featuring cats in pastiches of famous artworks by different artists (see Kandinsky’s Kats), but never completed it. I was exploring some of Klimt’s decorative approach, particularly with gold, so this seemed like a fun project to experiment with.

A Giclée print is a high quality archival inkjet print. The word Giclée (pronounced ‘Jee-Klay’ with a soft J), comes from the French verb ‘gicler’ meaning ‘to squirt, spurt, or spray’. In average daylight conditions, the print has a life expectancy of 80 years. In dark storage archival conditions, life expectancy is 200 years!
